Where to Celebrate July 4th in Windsor!

Are you looking for ways to celebrate July 4th in Windsor? 

I have all your Independence Day fun rounded up right here for you!

Here are a few patriotic events happening near Windsor: 

James "Dutch" Fogarty Fourth of July Celebration 

Date: July 6 (rain date July 7) 

Time: starts at 7pm and concludes with fireworks at 9:30pm

Location: Manchester Band Shell, 60 Bidwell St.

Details:  Entertainment will be provided by The North Cove Rogues and MASS CONN-FUSION.

The event also has children's activities like face painting.

Windsor concert in Town Green 

Date: July 4th

Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm

Location: Windsor Town Green, 276 Broad St.

Details: Performance by Steve Lipman

One Team Scavenger Hunt Adventure: Hartford 

Date: July 4th 

Time: 8am-6pm, you pick a time (takes 2 hours to complete)

Recommended Parking to Begin Adventure: 29 Temple Street, Hartford

Details: Self guided scavenger hunt! Fun for all ages.

Riverfront Fireworks

Date: July 13th

Time: 7pm Music, 9pm Fireworks

Location: Great River Park & Mortensen Riverfront Plaza

Details:  Arrive early and celebrate the Riverfront food truck festival 

  • Great River Park: Pedestrian access only
  • Charter Oak Landing: Handicapped parking only
  • Riverside Park: Open for boat launches until 8 pm, open for parking until the lot is full. Boats can come off of the water 30 minutes after the end of the fireworks.
